DEEP IMAGINATION ist das Soloprojekt von Thorsten Sudler-Mainz, der sich als Musiker und Produzent mit hochwertigen elektronischen Klangproduktionen seit Mitte der 90er Jahre einen Namen gemacht hat.

Bereits in den frühen 80er Jahren sammelte der aus Frankfurt am Main stammende Keyboarder Erfahrungen in verschiedenen Bands auf der Bühne und im Studio. 1996 gründete er gemeinsam mit dem Toningenieur und Produzenten Thorsten Rentsch das Elektronikprojekt Art Of Infinity.

Mit „Scapes“ erschien 2005 das Debütalbum von DEEP IMAGINATION bei Syngate Records. Es folgten diverse Live Konzerte gemeinsam mit den Gastmusikern Thorsten Rentsch und Stefan Höllering, unter anderem beim Deutschen Festival für Elektronische Musik „Satzvey Castle 2005” und bei der „Ambient Night“ im Zeiss Planetarium Bochum in 2008.

Nach der Veröffentlichung der „The Live & Versions DVD“ in 2007 erschien das zweite Album „Gemstones“ in 2008. Die Musik von DEEP IMAGINATION wurde danach auch über den renommierten Deutschen Musikverlag BSC Music GmbH weltweit im Digital-Vertrieb veröffentlicht.

2010 unterschrieb DEEP IMAGINATION einen Plattenvertrag mit BSC Music. Das neue Studioalbum “Awareness” erscheint im September 2010 auf Prudence im Vertrieb von Rough Trade.

DEEP IMAGINATION is the solo project of Thorsten Sudler-Mainz, who made himself a name as a musician and producer of high-class electronically music productions since the mid nineties.

 

Starting in the early eighties the Frankfurtbased keyboarder gained experience in several bands, both on stage and in the studio. Together with sound engineer and producer Thorsten Rentsch he founded the electronic music project Art Of Infinity in 1996.

 

In 2005 the debut album “Scapes” by DEEP IMAGINATION was released with the German label Syngate Records. This was followed by a series of live concerts in collaboration with guest musicians Thorsten Rentsch and Stefan Höllering, amongst others at the German Festival for Electronic Music “Satzvey Castle 2005” and at “Ambient Night” at Zeiss Planetarium Bochum in Germanyin 2008.

 

After the release of “The Live & Versions DVD” in 2007 the second album “Gemstones” appeared in 2008. The music of DEEP IMAGINATION was released too via digital

distribution by the renowned German publishing company BSC Music in 2008.

 

The new studio album “Awareness” is expected to be released in summer 2010.
