ALBUM RELEASE "ANENTROPIC POTENTIAL" IN DER RADIOSENDUNG CODOS TRAUMREISEN

Am 1. Dezember 2010 kamen Bernhard Wöstheinrich (Centrozoon / The Redundant Rocker) und Nadim Haque in der Sendung von Codo Cech zusammen, um ihr erstes gemeinsames Live-Set zu spielen; eine zweistündige Improvisation, direkt, live, on-Air.

Am 1. Juni 2011, also genau 6 Monate später, werden Bernhard und Nadim wieder in die Sendung von Codo zurück kommen, um dort die Veröffentlichung von "Anentropic Potential" zu präsentieren--eine nun vollkommen überarbeitete, geschnittene und gemasterte Version der Live-Aufnahme vom 6. Dezember 2011.

"Anentropic Potential" ist ein komplexer Soundtrack mit eindringlichen Melodien und drastischen Klang-Collagen. Das Album folgt zwar in seiner Struktur dem Ablauf der ursprünglichen Improvisation, ist aber nun konzeptionell an eine philosophische Erzählung in drei Kapitel angebunden.

Ein Supertip von "Jazzcomputer.org" aus Frankreich mit seinem siebten Album "Places" als free download.

Places is a set of imaginary ambient jazz moods, grooves and melodies. All the tracks and improvisations were actually played, then deeply reworked after long researches on sound design and soundscapes on the computer. There’s few guitar on this record, many more improvisations are performed on the synths than before ; the koto – guitar is present in jazzcomputer.org’s music since the beginning, but some tracks are completely dedicated to this instrument – far East climates submerge the listener as much as the resonant presences from the beyond and elsewhere…

‘Heart’ is inspired by melancholy, which is strongly reflected in the minor keys and slow tempos of the powerful compositions. Bernhard draws influences from French artist M83 as well as Big Beat styles with results that resemble a ‘wall-of-sound’ as we like it.

The fully analogue mix is courtesy of Clemens Schleiwies and Markus Reuter, who treated Bernhard’s compositions with a more intuitive and 'rock' approach than one would usually expect with an electronic album.
Bernhard’s twisted hooks are as infectious as usual, and offering ccasional craziness and many faces to discover with repeated listening.

The muscular dynamics on this recording were achieved by acclaimed engineer Clemens Schleiwies, who translated the digital recordings back onto analogue tape. These were then run through a vintage sound desk that was used by the likes of David Bowie and Brian Eno during their legendary sessions in Hansa Studios, Berlin. This "new meets old" approach with its combination of 20th Century post-production techniques and up to date tech-savvy gives Heart some of its a freshness and undeniable presence.

Die enorm kraftvolle Musik führt den Hörer mit ausdrucksstarker Geste mühelos von den Gestaden der klassischen und modernen Electronica über den bildreichen und ausladenden Erzählstil von klassischen Rock-Konzeptalben hin zu einer überraschend zeitgemäßen und ergreifenden Musik.
Produziert wurde die CD gemeinsam mit Markus Reuter. Die Tracks wurden in dem Münchner Studio 'The Private Room' von Clemens Schleiwies auf rein analogem Equipment gemischt und klingen entsprechend fett und kraftvoll. Das Mastering, also der letzte Produktions-Schritt, wurde in dem namhaften Düsseldorfer Studio Skyline Tonfabrik von Kai Blankenberg vorgenommen.
HEART ist ein "Wall-of-Sound" Release auf Augenhöhe mit druckvollen Produktionen von Trevor Horn oder Fat Boy Slim; hier trifft Roger Waters auf Propaganda’s "Dr. Mabuse".
